Dr. Phen

Dr Chiaven Phen earned her doctorate of dental surgery at University of
California, school of dentistry, San Francisco in 2003. She also obtained advanced training for two years following the completion of her dental program at
Metrohealth Hospital in Ohio specializing in Hospital Dentistry for children. Her focus during these two years was on children with special needs both medical and behavioral. Since then has been practicing pediatric dentistry in California and Nevada. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Santa Clara Dental Society.
Dr.Phen is Chinese by origin, grew up in a family of dentists. In her spare time she enjoys keeping herself busy with her energetic two young kids.
Her motto is “Educating about early oral health is the key to healthy teeth and happy smiling kids”.
Her interests also include providing early growth therapy, which minimizes need for extensive orthodontic treatment.
